Gentlemen, telling the ladies that you have a Silver Star, Purple Heart and the Congressional Medal of Honor may get you more than shot down at the bar…

NPR reports the Supreme Court is considering whether or not claiming you’ve won medals could get you thrown in the clink.

Who needs an education? We’ve got guns…

NPR reports Texas’ education system was in dire straits before the powers that be decided they needed the rest of their school’s money.

Kentucky~  Doug Harnice throws his hat in the ring for Paducah Mayor. TVA COO is stepping down in the hopes of getting some R&R.  The Lotto says everyone’s a winner!  Want to drink and fly- become a cargo pilot! The EPA sets new power plant regulations. Get some extra cash for your abandoned mine.

Will first time voters come through for Obama in 2012?

NPR reports President Obama rode into the White House on the support of “Millennial” voters, but their loyalty may be wavering.

We get an extra hour on Sunday (but I’m saving mine for Monday).

Kentucky~  A Graves County teacher is arrested for allegedly sleeping with a student. Barkley bridge work will go on through the weekend. The Breeders Cup begins today. Gov Beshear will begin his final surge. Utilities could go up.
