…face it, I’m older and have more insurance.

NPR reports as economic struggles have kept more people from retiring, and brought many out of retirement, age discrimination claims are up. But it’s tough to prove.

Kentucky~ The Racers are OVC champs. ‘Your lights were out‘, says the giant boat to the tiny bridge. There are more ways to win, or more likely lose at Kentucky Downs.

Illinois~ There’s a new sheriff in town (sheriff meaning chief, and town meaning Metropolis).

Tennessee~ Haslam gave up his class size idea.  Residents are getting out early in the primary. It’s getting harder to ‘say’gay’.

You know what kicks you should rock in China? The same ones you rock everywhere else…Chucks.

NPR reports since 2007, sales of the Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars in China have gone up about fifty percent.

Kentucky~ The Racers get GameDay’s attention (next step, Dickie V). Get lucky drawers out, it’s gamblin time. Good news, we can now leave children behind. The drop-out age could be on its way up.

Tennessee~ You can still say gay, at least for a little while. If you don’t want your kids to participate in extracurricular activities, you’re pushing for this one. Haslam wants more kids per teacher (because handling 30 kids is just too easy).

Apparently, Starbucks makes a lot of coffee…and a lot of money.

NPR reports the coffee chain known for it’s iconic dark roast has got it’s ‘mojo workin’ under the leadership of CEO Howard Schultz.

Kentucky~ Alleged embezzlers have a day in court. Soldiers return to a hero’s welcome. Hey, I think that buggy covered in highly reflective tape might have Amish people in it. “Caylee’s Law” requires you to tell somebody if you lose your kid. Romney and Gingrich want Kentucky.

Tennessee~ Hate crime victim’s dad is disturbed by ‘don’t say gay’.
