The Pawpaw: North America’s forgotten fruit.

NPR reports a long lost tropical-like fruit which grows in our temperate climate is a little known treat found throughout 26 states.

  1. Kirby Price of Dixon, in Webster County, KY. , has pawpaw trees planted in his yard. He brings me some every fall. Once he just left them on my porch and I wondered who has left me some old potatoes. They are good but have large seeds, so are sort of difficult to enjoy.
