The Kuttawa Flotilla of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary offers its course “About Boating Safely” at the Lyon County Library at 261 Commerce Street in Eddyville tomorrow, next Tuesday and Thursday, April 21 – 6 to 9 p.m. each day.  It costs $20.  Pre-register by calling Alan Wade at 270-388-9799.

The Unity Community Homemakers hosts its second annual Quilts and Memories show Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the George Weak’s Community Center on Poplar Street in Murray.  Proceeds from a small admission fee and a drawing for an MSU-themed quilt benefit the Murray-Calloway County Hospital Residential Hospice House.
