Tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. the Department of Music’s Percussion Ensemble performs its Spring Concert at Murray State’s Lovett Auditorium. Admission is free.
Paducah’s Market House Theatre’s Footlights youth acting troupes for grades 1 through 12 start a new trimester Saturday. There are two class options for elementary students — a musical theatre class at 8 a.m. and a theatre games class at 9. There’s a theatre games and comedy improv class at 10 a.m. for middle schoolers, and a comedy improv class at 11 for high schoolers. See details at mhtplay.com.
The National Guard FLW College Fishing National Championships bring a festival to Murray State’s CFSB Center this week. Tomorrow and Friday the festival starts at 2 p.m. with fish weigh-ins at 4. Saturday’s festival starts at Noon with American Idol finalist and country artist Bucky Covington performing a free concert Saturday at 2:30 p.m. with 4 p.m. weigh-ins televised live on Versus.
