It’s Monday, February 14.

Thursday is the deadline to register for a Marshall County Economic Development Breakfast and Forum on Thursday, February 24.  Mike Marshall, Federal Co-Chair of the Delta Regional Authority speaks on economic conditions in the southeast.  Breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. at Kentucky Dam Village State Park Dining Room and it’s free for those who register at chamber@marshallcounty.net.

Tomorrow the American Red Cross collects blood from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Murray State’s Curris Center off 12th Street.  The wintery conditions of last week caused a tremendous shortfall in collections due to cancelled drives across the eastern Seaboard.

The John James Audobon Museum on Highway 41 North in Henderson opens its acclaimed photographic retrospective Everyday People with a reception Thursday at 6 p.m.  The exhibit contains over 500 photographs and documents telling the stories of African-American people in the Tri-County region. It’s on view through March 20.
