Datebook: February 7 – Haiti gets 1st President 20 years ago

It’s Monday, February 7.

The editor of Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation and publisher of Watershed Media, Daniel Imhoff lectures at Murray Sate tomorrow evening.  Imhoff’s lecture, “The meat of the matter, Why we need to stop factory farms and what you can do” starts at 6:30 in the Chemistry Lecture Hall 1212 of the Jesse Jones Chemistry Building on 16th Street.

The Pennington Festival Committee sponsors a free square dance class with Ray Wyatt calling Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Hicks Building, 102 East Main Street in Princeton.  It’s in preparation for the 14th Annual Pennington Festival set for this June 2, 3, and 4.

There’s a meeting of the Tri-County Elder Abuse Chapter Wednesday.  It starts at noon at the PADD office, 300 Hammond Drive in Hopkinsville.

Black Women:  Bold, Beautiful, Brilliant – a celebration of poetry and music starts tomorrow night at 6:30 in MSU’s Wrather West Kentucky Museum at Murray State.
