It’s Wednesday, December 8.

Santa visits Kenlake State Resort Park in Aurora Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.

The National Quilt Museum has a free sugar cookie decorating event Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m.  Make quilt designs on Cookies and enjoy consuming your handiwork, with cookies, icing and embellishments provided while supplies last.  The Museum is at 215 Jefferson in downtown Paducah.

The Purchase Players and the Community Performing Arts Center of Mayfield stage the musical  Meet Me in St. Louis Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m.  The Center is at 9th and Water.  Call 270-251-9035 for $10 tickets.

The Kelly Community holds a community meeting to establish a Neighborhood Watch program and a Community Emergency Response team tomorrow at 7 p.m.  The meeting’s in the Fellowship Hall of Kelly Baptist Church on Highway 41.  Representatives of PADD, the Christian County Sheriff’s Department and Citizen Corps will be on hand.
