Tomorrow evening at 7 there’s a performance of the classic 1940’s radio play with five actors recreating the movie classic “It’s A Wonderful Life” at Badgett Playhouse in Grand Rivers.   A Foley Artist creates the sound effects.  The box office opens at 4 p.m. tomorrow.  For more call 888-362-4223.

The Kentucky Cancer Program and its District Cancer Council is calling for applications to create a new Faces of Cancer exhibit honoring local cancer survivors.  One chosen applicant from each of the Purchase Counties will be featured in the exhibit of photographs by J Nash Photography.  Applications are due next January 10.  Call 270-442-1310 for an application or e-mail jamiesmith@vci.net.  The exhibit opens in Paducah next June.

The Land Between the Lakes Photo competition is open for submissions through next Wednesday, December 1.  Go to lblphotocontest.org and create an application and login to upload entries online.  Photographers may submit a maximum of three photos taken in LBL, or on Kentucky or Barkley lakes in each of six categories.

An Illinois fish processor is sending 44k pounds of Asian carp back to Asia as food.
