It’s Tuesday, November 23.

Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church hosts a community holiday dinner Thanksgiving Day from 11 to 1.  The Church is 5 miles west of Benton at the intersection of Wadesboro Road and Highway 58.  There is no charge.

Author Mike Freeland is in Paris at Paris on the Square Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 signing his just released book, Time and the River, which is a companion to the memoir Blood River to Berlin – a World War II combat medic’s experience with the 82nd Airborne Division.

The National Quilt Museum has a new exhibit:  Contemporary Broderie Perse – Persian Embroidery.  Combining collage, fine appliqué, and fine quilting, broderie perse, also known as cut-out chintz appliqué – represents a high point in the art of quiltmaking.  The Museum is at 215 Jefferson near the riverfront in downtown Paducah.  Open Monday through Saturday 10 to 5 – Closed Thanksgiving.

Thank you for listening.  See a complete schedule for our Company for the Holidays series of programs beginning Thursday and continuing through New Year’s at wkms.org.
