It’s Friday, November 19.

The Market House Theatre in Paducah offers Bloody Murder at 7:30 tonight and tomorrow night and matinees tomorrow and Sunday at 2:30 p.m.  The play spoofs the murder mysteries of Agatha Christie, recommended for ages 10 and up. The box office is at 132 Market House Square.

This Sunday at 3 p.m. Murray native, president of eXile International Beth Haley speaks of her work with former child soldiers and orphans of war in Congo, Sudan and Uganda.   The awareness event in Murray State’s Curris Center’s Barkley Room from 2 to 4 p.m. includes the sale of jewelry, international art and photography.  Ms. Haley also shows bit of the film Children of War.

The Department of Theatre at Murray State stages Sondheim’s “Into the Woods”, tonight and tomorrow night at 7:30, Sunday at 2:30 p.m.  It’s suitable for children 12 and over.  Shows are at the Robert E. Johnson Theatre, ground level, Doyle Fine Arts Building near 15th and Olive.
