Datebook: November 16 – International Day for Tolerance

It’s Tuesday, November 16.

The Murray Art Guild’s Annual Holiday Sale is this weekend at the Robert O. Miller Conference Center at 201 South 4th Street.  There’s a preview reception and sale Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.  The Sale continues Saturday from 9 to 4 and Sunday from noon to 4.  Items range from fiber arts and jewelry to children’s toys, and woodcrafts.

There’s a Regional Agriculture Conference for Environment, Resources and Sustainability tomorrow from 9 to 4 at the Willam Bill Cherry Exposition Center on College Farm Road.  The event includes the kick off for the west Kentucky Bioworks farmer network.  Admission is free.

LBL’s Advisory Board meets at 9 a.m. Thursday at the LBL Administrative Building, 100 Van Morgan Drive in Golden Pond.   The meeting’s open to the public.

It’s International Education Week at Murray State.  Enjoy international cuisine prepared under the direction of international students nightly in Winslow Dining Hall.  Tonight and Thursday it’s Korean.  Tomorrow it’s Chinese and enjoy Indian flavors Friday.
