It’s Monday, November 15.

Murray State’s International Education Week begins today.  Each day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. there’s a Ten Thousand Villages sale in the Curris Center’s Rocking Chair Lounge.  Tonight at 7 Crossing Borders screens in the Curris Center Theatre.  It’s a documentary about American and Moroccan students studying abroad.  There are scholarly presentations daily.  See murraystate.edu/iew for details.

Medicare Open Enrollment is today through December 31st.  The Purchase Area Development District can direct you to volunteers with the State Health Insurance Assistance Program.  Call toll free at 877-352-5183.  Also, see medicare.gov, or call 1-800-Medicare.  Review options with the prescription drug assistance program.

The Loman C. Trover Library Reading Series at Madisonville Community College features author Gary Walton tomorrow at 7 p.m.  The nationally published, Pushcart Prize nominee teaches at Northern Kentucky University.  Walton’s novel Prince of Sin City, is about Newport Kentucky in its heyday as a gambling Mecca.
