As the former military ruler of Pakistan, Pervez Musharraf is not exactly an apostle of democracy. He seized power in a 1999 Coup d’état, but was pushed out of office 3 years ago after imposing martial law.

~NPR talks to the former General about his plans to return to Pakistan to become an elected leader.
