It’s Thursday, October 14.

The 23rd Annual Christmas in Marion arts and crafts show in Marion, Kentucky, is 9 to 4 Saturday at historic Fohs Hall on North Walker Street.  There are homemade breads and candy and homemade items ranging from willow furniture to gourd art to wreaths, birdhouses, jewelry and more.

Fort Massac State Park’s 37th annual Encampment is this weekend.  View military camps, buck skinner lodges, craft stalls, trade blankets, and booths with period food and drinks.  It’s open from 10 to 5 Saturday and 10 to 4:30 Sunday.  Both days The 42nd Royal Highlanders Bagpipe Band performs at 10:30 a.m. and performers of 18th Century music are on stage from 11 to 3.

Saturday brings the annual Fall Folklore Jamboree to the West Tennessee Agricultural Museum, Highway 70/79 in Milan from 9 to 4.  Enjoy over 100 demonstrators in skills like basketry, canning, tatting, soap-making, and spinning/weaving. Admission is $5 for adults.
