Good news. Romney pays less in taxes than I do, and likely you as well. I’m not sure why that’s good news, but I’m an optimist.

NPR reports Mitt Romney’s 2010 tax return shows he made $21.7 million dollars, and paid 13.9 percent in taxes. He’s rollin in it.

Kentucky~ Canaan gets OVC honors for a fourth time…he’s a bad man. A twister touched down in Hazel on Sunday. Former McCracken Judge-Executive gets that money. Madisonville Police ID remains. School bus ads die easy (sorry Bruce Willis). Lawmakers say the budget is tough, wow. Pharmacists say providers are screwing them.

Jordan’s King Abdullah II addresses the Arab Spring and Jordan’s need for a middle class.

NPR reports the King has entered the fray surrounding the Palestinian debate and has assured Jordanians that elections will be forthcoming.

Kentucky~ A Man is re-indicted for setting a deadly 1998 MSU fire.  Fulton may be losing its EMS services. The battle for Instant Racing continues.  Student test scores will soon be released.

Tennessee~ Bridgestone is expanding its Clarksville facilities.   Two state budgeting officials are leaving their positions. Lawmakers are attempting to change the Judiciary Court Commission’s power. Tennessee will be among many states determining science curriculum.

Vanilla Sky, Ivory Wave and White Rush are some of the names on packets of white powder being sold in convenience stores and gas stations across the nation.

NPR reports though the packets are labeled and sold as “bath salts,” they are actually a drug that produces a meth-like (and sometimes violent) high.

KENTUCKY~ Roadways are looking (mostly) clear but more snow is likely. Paducah Police need your help to find a missing autistic woman. State Police investigators accuse a teenager of murdering a 9-year-old Todd County girl. Owensboro Catholic officials call in a PI to check out a suicide victim’s online sex abuse allegations. A wine group is waiting for legislators to hear them… complain. Figuring out the state’s Medicaid budget is hard and one lawmaker is (again) taking aim at payday lenders.

TENNESSEE~ Republicans are rallying to join other states to challenge the federal healthcare law.
