The GOP has decided to fight for millionaires, even if they don’t want it.

NPR reports republicans have been railing against the millionaire surtax, but millionaires don’t seem to be against the idea. Maybe someone should tell Republican representatives.

Kentucky~ A Paducah businessman donates solar panels to the new animal shelter. A man tries to rob a Paducah motel with just his finger-gun. The Henderson plastics plant which was home to a fire earlier this week had numerous safety violations.  The Human Rights Commission released its report on discrimination in the Commonwealth.Beshear’s inaugural festivities have been revealed.

Another pseudo-presidential candidate ends the speculation.

NPR reports Sarah Palin confirms she will not be running for the presidency in 2012.

Kentucky~ Rand Paul says refugees shouldn’t get healthcare.  A fire in West Kentucky burns 10 acres.  Kentucky is selected for an undergraduate student assessment. A fire is the least of Mayfield emergency services’ worries.

Tennessee~ Clarksville may be getting more booze.

Jordan’s King Abdullah II addresses the Arab Spring and Jordan’s need for a middle class.

NPR reports the King has entered the fray surrounding the Palestinian debate and has assured Jordanians that elections will be forthcoming.

Kentucky~ A Man is re-indicted for setting a deadly 1998 MSU fire.  Fulton may be losing its EMS services. The battle for Instant Racing continues.  Student test scores will soon be released.

Tennessee~ Bridgestone is expanding its Clarksville facilities.   Two state budgeting officials are leaving their positions. Lawmakers are attempting to change the Judiciary Court Commission’s power. Tennessee will be among many states determining science curriculum.

Tennessee~ Someone set off fireworks in a Henry County teacher’s Jeep.

McCracken County commissioners may decide tonight where to build a new Emergency Operations Center. A Graves County fire kills 2. MSU bows out of March Madness tourney. The General Assembly has only 9 days to get ‘r done. State sees a 14% increase in foodstamp usage.

TN~ A Clarksville rapper is stabbed to death. A Martin teacher faces federal sex charges.
